Stampede for Liquid Gold

Stampede for Liquid Gold
Saturday was the annual Maple Syrup Stampede on St. Joseph Island with the fastest skiers taking home gold, in a bottle.

Stampede for Liquid Gold
Sixty cross country ski enthusiasts of all ages raced their way up, down and around the beautiful ski trails in Jocelyn’s Mountainview Centennial Grounds. Top prize for each division was, of course, St. Joseph Island Maple Syrup.

Greg Prodan had an outstanding day, as he finish first in the Men’s 7Km Classic, then swapped out his equipment and not only completed, but won the Men’s 14Km Skate race.
