Installment of Officers at Branch 374
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 374 on St. Joseph Island held a meeting on Thursday June 2nd during which the new officers were officially installed.

Below is a list of the new executive for 2016:

2nd Vice-President: Ray Kennedy

3rd Vice-President: Bruce Harten

Treasurer: Gonny Frech

Secretary: Lynda Richards

Sergeant at Arms: Dave Pearse

Executive Committee: John Hooper, John Paterson and Carol Trainor.

Also at Thursdays meeting, proceeds from a recent Teen Game Night Game-a-Thon were present to the Legion and will be donated to the Leave the Streets Behind program whose mission is to reach out to homeless Veterans, or near homeless Veterans, by providing immediate financial assistance and support when and where needed. It also connects them with the appropriate social and community services to establish a long term solution to meet their needs.
