Great Day at the Expo

Great Day at the Expo

North Channel Current took part in the Sustain Algoma Expo held at the Johnson Township Community Centre on Saturday July 23rd; taking advantage of the opportunity to showcase what we offer, along with other local businesses and organizations.

This year we (North Channel Current) set up a booth, with other members of the Bruce Mines & District Chamber of Commerce, to promote small business and tourism in and around Bruce Mines.

The Current provided a fun "Front Page" photo op for people who stopped by our booth. To check out more of these photos, visit the Sustain Algoma album on our Facebook page.

New to the expo was the Sustain Algoma Art Exhibit hosted by the St. Marys River Remedial Action Plan and Thinking Rock Community Arts. Participating artists were: Patricia Baker, Sally Gibson, Britt-Marie Lindgren and Isabelle Michaud. Expo visitors were invited to vote for their favorite piece, in the "Peoples Choice" award.
