Elks Lodge Helps Local Family

The Echo Bay Elks Lodge #535 sponsored a local family who has been dealing with a child suffering from heart disease. The family recently received financial assistance through the Elks and Royal Purple National Charities branch.

Micheal Haldenby has undergone numerous heart related procedures including angioplasty as well as aortic valve replacement twice this summer.

The Elks and Royal Purple National Fund for Children provides families of a child under 19 with financial assistance through a sponsoring lodge.
