Former Huskies Medal at Nationals

Former CASS Huskies, Eric Kern and Emily Good, each recently picked up bronze medals in their respective National Championships.

Eric Kern, competing in Men's Doubles Badminton for the Georgian College Grizzlies, and his partner Ethan Zhao won bronze at  the 2018 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Badminton National Championships held at Concordia University of Edmonton.  Kern and Zhao won a silver medal at the OCAA Championships last month and were the men's doubles bronze medalists at the OCAA Championships last year.

Emily Good, competing on the Western University Mustangs track and field team finished her season with a USports Bronze medal at the National University Championships in Windsor ON.  Emily threw 13.73m, finishing only 2cm behind silver medalist Kaitlin Brooks, who threw 13.75m.  Two weeks prior to the USports Chamionship, Emily threw a personal best 13.97m to take silver at the OUA Chamionships, also held in Windsor, ON.
