Marinas Host New Boating Event

Marinas Host New Boating Event
The Richards Landing and Hilton Beach Marinas are pleased to present the inaugural Island Poker Run taking place between Richards Landing and Hilton Beach on Sunday, August 26, 2018 featuring a scenic tour of some of the best boating in the area.

The Richards Landing and Hilton Beach Marinas are proud to collectively present the Island Poker Run to St. Joseph Island for the first time. The Island Poker Run will have 5 card stops over a period of 4 hours, starting at the Richards Landing Marina at 11 am for registration, and ending at 3 pm at the Hilton Beach Marina.

There is no limit on boat size and anything from personal watercraft to pontoon boats to cruisers are encouraged to participate. Once registered, boaters can visit each card stop in any order. Card stops between the two marinas include the iconic Whiskey Rock, Kensington Point Marina and Gawas Bay dock on the way to the Hilton Beach Marina.

Registration is limited to 25 boats, so don’t hesitate. Registration fee is $60, and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Food vouchers for La Terrazza Franzisi, and the Tilt’n Hilton will be included in your registration package. This is not a race, but the best poker hand wins the pool at the end of the day. A number of door prizes will also be available to participants.

If you would like to volunteer to run a card stop or help with registrations please contact Carol Trainor at 705-246-2625 ext 202.
