Thank you to our loyal readers who messaged us to say the Current was experiencing issues and went offline for a bit this weekend.

I took the weekend off to compete with two teams of local women in the Boyne City Triathlon and unfortunately couldn't fix the problem from there. On the upside, we had a great race and both teams came home with 3rd place medals.

Carol Trotter of Echo Bay was our cyclist and Aimee Bringleson of Desbarats was our second runner on Duathalon Team-Tri Catch Us.

Team Splash, Flash & Dash with Island girls Meagan Vance swimming, Katie Wessell cycling, along with friend Elsie Ivic running, posted a great time in the sprint triathlon relay placing 3rd out of 8 teams.

Unfortunately, while in the USA I couldn't fix the online situation, but we're good to go now and don't expect any further trouble. My apologies for any confusion or inconvenience this caused.
