Little Free Library Tucked Away for Winter

Little Free Library Tucked Away for Winter

The Bruce Mines & District Chamber of Commerce Little Free Library has been removed from it's waterfront location in Bruce Mines, and tucked away for the winter.

This is the second season for the lighthouse library. It continues to be a popular spot for local bookworms and a fun stop along Hwy 17 to stretch, explore, and grab a book for the road.

The Little Free Library designed and built by Chamber member Jim McCulloch, was recognized this summer by the Little Free Library Organization  as a Library of Distinction for its unique and inspiring design. Our lighthouse library now joins other exceptional builds on the Libraries of Distiction Pinterest page. You can find it by clicking here.

As well, we were happy to find the guest book full of wonderful comments and positive feedback again this year.

The Little Free Library will be returned to the waterfront some time in May 2019, depending on the weather.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to take a book or leave a book. See you in the spring!
