CASS Students Protest Proposed Cuts

Well over 100 Grade 7-12 CASS students walked out of class at 1:15pm Thursday as part of a province wide student protest to proposed cuts in education by the Doug Ford government.

The students made signs, wrote letters to MPP Michael Mantha, and held a peaceful protest on the edge of school property along Highway 17, to show their disapproval of government changes to include: job cuts, changes in autism funding, class size increases and mandatory e-learning classes for all students.
