Jenna Fleming's gold medal performance in senior girls javelin was the highlight of the trip.  Fleming, seeded second behind rival Alexandria Webb, trailed Webb until the 5th round of throws where she unleashed a CASS record setting throw of 45.11m to take the lead for good.  Fleming's gold medal, is the first for a CASS track and field athlete ever.  Fleming also competed in the senior girls discus.

Kalevi Karhi also competed in two events, the junior boys 1500m and 3000m races.  Karhi did not pick up a gold medal but he did establish a new CASS record for the junior boys 1500m with a time of 4:38.26.  Karhi also broke the 3000m record at NOSSA, the week before.

Rounding out the CASS contingent was Blake Dunning, competing in the senior boys 100m and 200m, and Cole Stevens who competed in the senior boys javelin.
